Dove and The Campaign For Real Beauty

American society has placed much emphasis on being skinny and beautiful. We see it constantly in most fashion magazines and TV media. Yes, it is time to widen the definition of beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    if beauty is within then why do we nt yet see people in dove adverts with acne and other skin conditions,real plain janes or overweight ladies?

  2. Yes, I agree with you. Companies should put more "real" people in their advertising campaigns. I wish I could answer why this isn't so, but hopefully blogs like this will get the word out!
