Avon Updates

Avon is back to the original catalog size! This may not be a big deal to you, but as a rep who walks from door to door passing out catalogs, it's heaven sent. :) However, for customers it is easier to browse through. I received the Campaign 10 catalog yesterday and thought I'd share some specials:

--Lip Recovery Cream with SPF 15-- A new healing lip treatment plus full satin color (I have personally tried this and noticed that my lips were softer and smoother) Get it now for $3.99 - save $4.00

--Advanced All-in-One Max SPF 15 Lotion or Cream - Now $10.00 - save $6.50

--Moisture Therapy Body Lotions 13.5 fl. oz - Half Price: $3.99 Each

--Skin So Soft Bath Oil 16.9 fl. oz - Buy One Get One Free

"Three Black Skirts"~A Recommended Reading

I borrowed this book from a friend over a year ago and I'm just now beginning to read it. It's actually a really good book - Three Black Skirts: All You Need to Survive. At first glance I thought it was book on how to dress, but it offers advice on all aspects of a busy girl's life: money, mood management, body image boosters, spiritual life, home decor, etc.
Highly recommended!

Find Your Own Individual Style

Working in retail for the past twelve years, I've seen many a trend come and go. Nothing irks me more than to hear girls/women say they want a certain item because they saw so-and-so in Vogue or Cosmo wearing it.

Ladies, buy something because you actually think it looks cute and not because it's "in". I see too much of this going on in here in San Diego, where the style is whatever everyone else is wearing. I don't know if the fact that we are the last to know about the new styles has anything to do with it. I'd like to see San Diego become a trend-setting city. We're not just a city of shorts and flip flops.

I was bohemian before bohemian came in this spring. Open my closet and you'll see an array of tunics, peasant tops, flowy skirts, and tie-dye. Now what do I do? When the trend passes, I'll still be wearing those clothes...that's what.

Express yourself. Be bold and creative. Be you.

My Anew Retroactive Testimonial

I used to think testimonials were cheesy...but I must let the world know!

It's only been a week since I began using Avon's Anew Retroactive Day Defense and I have seen a dramatic change in my complexion. My skin feels smoother, softer, and looks so vibrant! (I feel like I'm on a freakin' commercial! lol)
