The $2 10-Minute French Manicure

French manicure kit
If you've stumbled across this blog looking for pictures on french manicures, welcome! Feel free to browse around my archives. Don't forget to bookmark this blog, subscribe to my feed, or blog about this post at your own blog!

Being the frugal person that I am, I often do things myself – like give myself a french manicure. Instead of paying $10 - $15 every two weeks to get a manicure, why not spend $2 and do it yourself?

Giving yourself a French manicure is actually much easier than it looks.

The kit that I bought comes with these stickers that you apply on the nail and gives you the ability to apply the white nail polish in a “straight line". This particular kit I purchased at Big Lots for $2, but I have this Sally Hansen kit too...

First, you'll want to apply the stickers to your clean nails. Next, you apply the white polish to the tips.

Wait for the white nail polish to dry before removing the stickers. Then apply the top coat… and Voila! There you have it, a beautiful manicure for $2 and fifteen minutes of your time ;) I painted my toes too, but didn’t want to post a picture because I’m not quite fond of my toes – might scare you! (I know, I need to just embrace the toes and love them).

If your nails are looking a little scraggly – give them some love and indulge… It only takes ten minutes!
