Carnivale of Couture - Holiday Attire Edition

Many of you may know me from TheRunwayScoop, but this week I wanted to try something different and post to Carnivale from one of my other homes on the web.

This week the Carnivale is being hosted by ShoeSense and the question is:

What is the proper attire for 4th of July?

Sidenote: For those of you not familiar with the Carnivale of Couture, I might point out that we had to delay it for a week due to some fun times experienced by Manolo the Shoeblogger - He had such a blast that he forgot about announcing it.. Ok, back to the question and my answer...

Personally I don't usually dress in "4th of July" gear with all the red, white, and blue. It's just not my thing. However I can't say that there really is a "proper" thing to wear on this holiday. I would say wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing! However, if I was really in a festive mood, I would wear a white wrap dress with denim peep-toe heels and red and blue barrettes in my hair....
