Thoughts on Fall Fashion and Magazines

It’s that time again...Fall fashion magazines are coming out and I’m thrilled (can you feel the excitement oozing out of the computer screen?) to see all the new gorgeous goods. Frankly, I’m bored with summer already. For whatever reason I’m just not inspired to dress really cute during the heat. But fall, well, that’s a whole other story. There’s layering outfits, jackets - oh, I adore jackets! - and boots, musn't forget the boots.

So far I’ve browsed through Lucky Magazine and the new and improved Marie Claire. I like that Marie Claire is talking about things that matter nowadays, like politics and global fashion. Now, I’ll be on the hunt for Vogue and InStyle. I know that Vogue is going to weigh a ton! However, let’s hope that I can find the Table of Contents more easily this time ;)

I still haven’t adopted any of the 80’s fashion and I heard that stirrup leggings are coming back! Eeek!

However, I may do quite a bit of shopping at Target as I’ve fallen in love with their Paul & Joe collection. It’s a must see!

What trends have you adopted for fall?

  1. OMG I know what you mean! I am strictly a Fall/Winter girl myself. I have a ton more clothes for those seasons than I do summer. Even when I shop in the summer i'm buying pants and other things i'd more likely wear in the fall and winter. Crazy! I just got the September issure of Elle in the mail yesterday and I nearly fell over when I saw the size of it when I pulled it out of the mailbox. I wansn't expecting it to be so thick!! I tore through like half the magazine that very evening. I already have pages turned down of styles I want to add to my fall/winter wardrobe. I really need to subscribe to InStyle and Vogue.

  2. I'm going to need about two or three days to go through the new fall magazines! Looking forward to it ;)
