Random Questions on Plastic Surgery

I wonder if there’s a correlation between the economic demographic of a city and how many plastic surgeons are in the area. For instance, we can assume that there are probably tons of millionaires in the area surrounding Silicon Valley (you know, technology and all). So, I did a search for “San Jose plastic surgery” and there were 77,600 results for the search term.

Interesting. I then did a search for “San Diego plastic surgery” and came up with over a million references. Even “Los Angeles plastic surgery” produced over a million references.

Of course this isn’t the best way to do research, but it did bring to mind another question. Are people in Southern California more obsessed with their looks than people in Northern California?

Should we even care?

It's just interesting to me because you have to wonder if women's lifestyles and surroundings affect their thoughts on plastic surgery....Is there a way to change their way of thinking and become more accepting of who they are?
