Well, fortunately I've come to a place in my life where I've accepted who I am. I'm not obsessed with recreating the body I had when I was 21. No "Perfect Girl" syndrome for me. I happen to think that I still have a bit of sass and sexiness ;) I've managed to stay at my ideal weight without ever dieting.
My Key to Staying Young...
My tip for staying young is to simply stay active....and laugh alot! Every week I walk an average of 4-5 miles. Instead of driving to the store, I walk. It's about a mile walk, but I view it as a time to clear my head and get some fresh air.
Staying active doesn't necessarily mean that you should do hard-core exercise every day. Exercise could be doing something fun and simple like dancing your ass off when nobody is watching - something I recommend doing every once in awhile!
Age Is a State of Mind
You've probably heard the old cliché time and again: "Age is just a number". Well, that's the mantra that I've been living by for the past five years.
Well, I really and do truly believe that age is just a state of mind. Sometimes I even forget how old I am!
If all you're focused on is getting old and feeling old, well, guess what? You're going to age faster than somebody who is focused on just living and enjoying life. So get out there and stay focused on being healthy and active!
