Well, although it is nice to receive, I think it's just as exciting to give back. Those of you who have been reading this blog for awhile know how much I appreciate those companies that use their business to not just make money, but to help others as well.
Recently I found out about a company called Break the Chain Apparel that works toward ending domestic violence, abuse and other social issues by producing Clothing with a Voice®. The clothing displays messages as "Make a Stand Against an Angry Hand" and "End Hunger Now".
Recently Break the Chain® Apparel (BTC) teamed up with Hannah’s Socks to bring new socks to shelters in Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky.
BTC will now donate $3 (the approx. value of a pair of socks) for every t-shirt ordered from these three states until Dec. 31, 2009. If you are interested in participating in this program but live outside Ohio, Kentucky or Michigan send an email order to firstname.lastname@example.org and $3 will be donated to Hannah’s Socks.

What I've learned is that when you give back, you spread good vibes out into the world. When you come from a place of giving, you can't help but to feel good and look more beautiful ;)
