Day 1 Holiday Beauty Giveaway: Melvita Argan Oil

Melvita Argan Oil
The holiday season is in full swing and it wouldn't be a fun and beautiful season without some beauty giveaways, right?

I've lined up some goodies for you, dear reader, as a thank you for reading this blog and sharing your comments. Ok, it won't be Oprah or Ellen DeGeneres type of giveaways, but hopefully you'll be excited anyways ;)

For the first day I'm giving away Melvita's best selling product, Argan Oil.

According to the Melvita website, argan tree kernels have been harvested for centuries for their "miraculous" benefits. Argan oil is good at protecting your skin and hair from toxins in the environment as well as protection from premature aging.

I haven't tried out the argan oil myself, but I do like that Melvita is committed to fair trade practices and beauty without synthetics. The company has been around since 1983 and the number one certified organic beauty brand in France.

  1. My experience with organic products started when I began using Dr. Hauschka and Jurlique products for my acne years ago. I'm hooked.

  2. I am not going to lie I have not experienced using organic products. All the ones I use have some kind of chemical. But I do wonder how good they are.

  3. I have experience with only one organice beauty product. My mom has used evening primrose lotion on her face for as long as I can remember. I'm not even sure of the brand name or anything. She buys it at the natural organic stores. Since she has used it for so long on her face, at the age of 50, she has very few wrinkles and looks ten years younger than she is. I began using it daily in my mid-twenties, and now at age 28 I am not getting the fine lines around the edges of my eyes like most of my friends. Maybe it genes, or maybe it's the lotion? But I'm not going to stop using the lotion to find out! :) macd82 at gmail dot com
