Holiday Giveaway Part 3: Milani Infinite Liquid Eye Liner (and Review)

Milani Infinite Liquid Eye Liner
As I write this, many people across the world are celebrating the New Year. Here at Beauty Is Within, I'm celebrating a new me...and a new YOU! And that means another beauty giveaway that inspires you to go bold and try something new.

Tired of that same color eye liner that you've been wearing for the past decade? This New Year giveaway consists of four colors of Milani's Infinite liquid eye liner: Everlast (Black), Forever (Bronze), Infinite (Blue), and Eternal (Green).  Winner takes all!

I sampled "Endless" which is a dark purple. This was my first time trying liquid eye liner, so I had a little difficulty getting a nice, straight line.  I don't know if it's because the eyeliner is thick or that I'm just liquid eye-liner challenged.

All in all, I like this eyeliner.  The color is very rich and definitely waterproof.  The company claims that you can wear this for up to 24 hours without a smudge.  Because my skin tends to get a little oily around the eye area, this eyeliner works great for me.  This eyeliner stayed put even after taking a warm shower and washing my face with soap.

So, are you ready to add some bold new colors to your eyeliner collection?

  1. Never line JUST the bottom eyelid if the color is too dark. It makes a corpse-y eye!

  2. Put a little powder on your eyelids before applying shadow.

  3. Hi Maria! I am just like you with oily eyelids. I have yet to find a product that stays. I might have to try these if they stayed put on you. As far as a makeup tip... if you have oily lids like me, use a primer before appling liner.

  4. Take off makeup with olive oil! Takes everything off and it's moisturizing!

  5. If you have almond shaped eyes like mine , you will have very little natural creasing in your eye lid. The best eye make up style for this is to create a contrast between the eyelid and the brow bone

i have tweeted about your giveaway here

    my email is :)

  6. To make the eye shadow dark and smokey use the black eyeshadow after that but layer of eyeshadow any colour , its would be clear and strong with blending

  7. If you have red under tones to your skin like I do, use a green concealer before putting on your foundaton.

  8. Use an eyeshadow the same color as your eyeliner to set it so it won't smudge. You can also use a translucent powder if you don't happen to have any eyeshadows that's the same color as the liner being used. =]

Eyeliner is a definite must, but never pull your lids to apply eyeliner it creates extra wrinkles around your eyes as you age.

  10. I do not wear much makeup would love to wear more.....

  11. My tip would be to take just a dab of a frosty colored eye shadow (like floof from Mac) and gently dab it on the corner of your eye by your nose. It will make you look more awake.

  12. My biggest tip is to make sure to take it all off at night. SO your face doesn't get irritated.

  13. TIP: If your eyelid is greasy the best thing to do is to use a primer before you apply eyeshadow.

  14. If you're like me and have greasy eyelids and find yourself without a good eyeshadow primer, slapping some foundation on them will do the trick :)

  15. the powder on the lids is what i do

  16. I use a powdered base before applying eye shadow and it usually keeps your eye shadow from creasing, and actually I just tried these eye liners today and I loved mine, thanks for hosting this great giveaway

  17. With liquid eyeliner I use a moist q-tip to clean up any extra eye liner. Thanks for the chance to win!

  18. An easy tip I do daily - when using eyeliner, heat the tip up just slightly with some hot breath straight from yourself! Works like a charm AND it makes it apply much easier and quicker!

  19. Only place eyeliner about 3/4 of the way towards your nose on your bottom lid - it will make your eyes appear larger. Thanks!

  20. I could sure use a waterproof eyeliner, the only thing Ive gotten to help is a primer

  21. Nothing makes lashes longer than using an eyelash curler before putting on mascara.

  22. Use powder to set your eyeshadow and to keep it matte (not oily looking)

  23. I actually don't have any eye makeup tips because although I'm 33 years old, I've never worn makeup before! Crazy, huh? lol
Thanks for the chance to win some to try!

  24. My tip is to start with eyeliner and mascara first when doing your makeup so if you make a mistake it's easy to remove it without messing up the rest of your makeup.
