I've been thinking about going on a couple skiing holidays. With the 2010 Winter Olympics being held in Vancouver Canada in a couple months (and it just so happens my cousins live in Vancouver), I may just go on holiday and learn how to ski while I'm there.
However, being from Southern California and all, my wardrobe consists mainly of short sleeves and tank tops - not exactly what you would call winter fashion. It was just recently that I bought a new trench coat and sweaters.
I went into research mode to find out what the ski fashion scene looks like nowadays. Here's what I discovered:
- Bright colors, including white, yellow, green, and blue are trendy right now....but then, other sites say that bright colors are out and plaid is in. Go figure.
- Baggy, loose, and long coats are in.
- At the Schick Fashion Exposed show in Whistler, the one-piece suits and fitted shapes were popular.
So, as I always say, wear whatever winter fashion flatters your body and feels good to you!
