Getting Back Into An Exercise Routine

With the weather warming up, there's no excuse not to get out, get some fresh air, and re-energize yourself by walking, jogging, or doing any type of exercise that gets the blood flowing. Take a dancing class if that excites you!

If you're wondering how some people can look so much younger than their age, it's most likely due to regular exercise, healthy eating, and lots of laughter...which reminds me, refer to an old post I wrote, "5 Anti-Aging Tips For Natural Beauties."

I'll admit that I haven't actually followed my own advice. I've been really slacking in the exercise department. I can tell that it's affected my energy, quality of sleep, and productivity levels. When I exercise I sleep so good and I feel much more energetic.

The fact is, I haven't given my health priority lately. I know that many of you are probably in the same boat. Just like I give priority to my blogging, I must also put that same energy and focus into getting fit.

What do you do to stick with an exercise routine?

Maybe SELF Magazine's "Workout in the Park" will inspire me to stay consistent with a workout routine. The event will take place here in San Diego on Saturday, April 24 at Mission Bay Park from 11am - 3pm. Celebrity Yoga instructor, Mandy Ingber, will be there to lead a yoga class and there will be other workouts you can take part in. Looks like it will be a fun event! Find out more by visiting:

  1. I need this one, too. Since January, I have started reducing my rice intake and limited it to one full meal a day. :) I hope I can sustain it.
