You know how authorities in the U.S. have been cracking down on the importation of counterfeit handbags and clothing? It should be the same for cosmetic companies that plaster airbrushed celebrities across fashion and beauty magazines. Recently L'Oreal wanted to run an ad with Julia Roberts that was obviously airbrushed to the tenth power.
Thank goodness the UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) had enough sense to ban the ad because it was deemed to be "misleading". Why can't the U.S. have these types of standards? Enough already. Stop the madness!
