My best friend is plus size, so when we go shopping together, she will often like the same styles that I do, and although the clothing would probably flatter her body shape, it will only go up to a certain size. We've shopped at trendy stores like Forever 21 that does offer plus size clothing for women, but the selection isn't that good.
As for my fiance, he's a pretty tall guy who likes to wear oversize clothing. He does have the option to shop for big mens clothes at websites like www.onestopplus.co.uk, however, he's the type of shopper that usually likes to actually try before he buys. He also doesn't like to wait for something to be mailed to him. There are many people just like him who want that instant gratification!
As I've mentioned before, it's great that there are more options for plus size women because of all the online shops nowadays. However, wouldn't it be nice if more buyers of brick-and-mortar department stores or boutiques were able to anticipate the styles of clothing that big and tall men or plus size customers would like and ask that manufacturers and/or designers offer those styles in bigger sizes? Is that too much to ask for or am I missing something here?
