Natural Fashion Calls For Natural Beauty

Natural Fashion, Natural Beauty

It’s so easy to transition into spring fashion when the weather outside is absolutely perfect, the birds are singing their songs, and all the flowers and trees are radiating bright colors. All I want to do is put on a fun spring outfit and dance around in the green grass. And I might just do that because it’s my birthday today!

It’s only right that this season’s fashion trends have taken cues from nature. What would a spring season be without bright colors and flowers? In all the stores I’ve seen coral, green, yellow, and neon colors. Oh, and why not mix and match all your pretty prints just for the fun of it?

Besides the black and white stripes trend, here are a few other spring looks that have caught my eye recently...

The Maxi Dress

How can you go wrong with a maxi dress for spring? For me this is the effortlessly chic, be-ready-in-ten-minutes look. And with minimal makeup, you’ll be all natural beauty in an instant. I would go for a nude or light pink lipstick and Hourglass’ lighting powder in “Ethereal Light” for a fresh-faced look.

Ruffles

Ruffles remind me of leaves on trees when they first bloom. They’re light, airy, and blow easily in the wind. I picture myself wearing a ruffled dress running through a flower field in France wearing L'Occitane’s Cherry Blossom fragrance. (By the way, L’Occitane at Debenhams is 10% off right now because of their Easter Extravaganza.)

Floral Everything

Spring just isn’t spring without floral prints. Big flowers, small flowers, and everything in between. With so many bright colors on your body already, why not go au natural with the makeup? Put your hair up in a bun, moisturize the face, and just wear a touch of red lipstick.

What are your favorite fashion and beauty looks for spring?
