Well, ok, not everyone woman should have these dresses in their wardrobe because there are some of us who just don’t like to wear dresses. I used to be one of them. I was very much a tomboy back in the day. It was just only a few years ago that I set the intention to wear more dresses, and now I love them because it’s so much easier to just throw on a dress versus mixing and matching tops and pants.
If you love dresses, here are five to consider adding to your style arsenal when the occasion calls for them:
Little Black Dress
When you just don’t want to fuss with putting an outfit together, the little black dress will come and save the day. Whether it’s going to a party, church, or out to dinner with the in-laws, you can never go wrong with a stylish LBD. I love this belted wrap dress because it’s a style that can be worn for just about any occasion...
A girls night out or going out for drinks after work with friends calls for the pretty cocktail dress. When I think of cocktail dresses, I picture something fun and flirty like this one shoulder dress with waist ruching and sequins on the strap.
For breezy days at the beach, the maxi dress is perfect. What I like about a maxi dress is that it can make you look tall when worn with heels, which is what I recommend if you’re short like me. If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile now, you know how much I love black and white stripes...
For nights out with that special guy in your life, a night wedding, or a more formal affair, the evening dress. I love the flowy look of this sleeveless turtleneck dress...
Summer is around the corner filled with travel, barbeques, and picnics in the park. Throwing on a fun summer dress is just so easy, and of course, it keeps you much cooler!
All of the dresses mentioned here are available at www.bonprix.co.uk.
And speaking of dresses, I just curated a collection of 10 cute and stylish summer dresses over at Topfloor.com. I included a variety of dresses that offer an overview of my own personal style. I included a few maxi dresses, floral dresses, plus simple, yet feminine dresses.
