Silk and cashmere scarves are a great choice for those who are looking for quality neckwear. Cashmere, a fiber that comes from goats native to India, is a top choice for luxury and quality. It’s one of the softest fabrics out there, as well as being light and strong. Best of all, it’s extremely warm, so if you’re looking for a good scarf to keep yourself warm and stylish at the same time, cashmere is the way to go.
Another popular option for scarves is silk; silk scarves have been worn in China since ancient times. Silk is a popular choice because of its lightness, softness, and beautiful shimmer; it’s another luxury fabric that makes you look fabulous. One of the best options for scarf material, however, is a blend of both silk and cashmere. This blend is wonderfully supple, soft, light, and warm, a great way to pamper yourself and show off your unique style.
Colors and Patterns
Because a scarf is so simple — a long skinny piece of fabric — it might be a surprise just how many different styles and colors it can come in. Scarves can be solid colored, patterned, or printed on. They can come in different styles, textures and lengths. When choosing a scarf for your outfit, first take the color into account.
Generally, it’s a good idea to wear a neutral color if you’re going for a more subdued look. If you want to wear a more colorful scarf, however, pair it with a plainer wardrobe to really make it pop; either that or wear it with a bright outfit that complements the color well. It’s best to avoid patterned scarfs if you’re going to be wearing a patterned shirt or pair of pants because that can just look messy and confusing. With a solid shirt, however, patterned scarves can really stand out. You can find them in tie-dye, polka dots, dip dyes, or even floral prints.

Ways to Tie
There are many different ways to tie a scarf. One of the simplest is not tying it at all- simply drape it around the back of your neck. This is not only an easy way to wear it, but it also works the best with other jewelry. You can wear a chain, beaded, or leather necklace along with your scarf without it looking too overwhelming.
Another option is to tie it simply, with a basic knot in the front just above your breastbone. This one really shows off the scarf itself, so do it with a truly dazzling wrap. You can also wind the scarf around your neck, which is the most efficient for keeping you warm if you’re going out in the cold. It can take the place of a necklace and make a cool statement. If you’re really adventurous, you could learn to tie some more complex, beautiful knots.
