Review: Veria ID Soak It Up Highly Hydrating Mask

Veria ID Innerdosha Soak it Up Highly Hydrating Mask

When you have dry skin on your face like I do, keeping it hydrated is a must. Those of you who have been reading this blog know that this has been one of my biggest challenges as I get older. Besides taking the right vitamins, drinking plenty of water, and eating healthy foods, there are beauty products you can use to maintain a soft, dewy look.

I've used masks in the past that you apply, keep on for awhile, then wash off. Veria ID has a mask called "Soak it Up Highly Hydrating Mask" ($24, 1.7 oz) that you can keep on as long as you want - even overnight if you want.

The texture of the mask is just like a thick, creamy moisturizer, and it has a light spicy scent like the body lotion I reviewed last year. I actually use it more as a moisturizer and put it on after I've just washed my face. Every other day I'll use it in the morning before I apply makeup or I'll use at night and keep it on all night. It does keep my face moisturized well into the morning. Because my face is extra dry, it just soaks it up and doesn't leave a greasy residue.

Veria ID Innerdosha has several lines of skincare and products depending on your skin type. What I like about their products is that they are 100% vegetarian ingredients and are certified cruelty-free. I also like the packaging. The container for this mask is made of glass, so I can recycle it to hold safety pins or even plant a small succulent in it!
