Review: güd Mango Moonbreeze Shampoo & Conditioner by Burt's Bees

güd Mango Moonbreeze Shampoo & Conditioner

Mango. Jasmine. Relaxation. No, it's not exactly a vacation in an exotic location, but it's close. güd Mango Moonbreeze Shampoo & Conditioner by Burt's Bees can take you there for about 10 minutes when you're indulging in a little "me" time during a bath or shower. I've been using the güd foaming hand wash in the "Pearanormal Activity" scent for awhile now, which I love, so I jumped on the opportunity to try out this hair product line.

Flawless Makeup For Photos Tutorial

One of my favorite makeup artists to follow on YouTube is Wayne Goss because he has a ton of helpful makeup tutorials. I wish I had the patience to do some of the things he suggests like contouring your face, but I'm the type of gal that needs my makeup routine to be quick and easy.

3 Things I've Learned From Spring Cleaning My Closet

My closet
At least twice a year I like to reorganize my entire closet. It's a good time to assess the wardrobe and see if there are any necessities that can be added or if there are things I don't use or wear anymore that can be donated.

Spring cleaning the closet is something I highly recommend everyone do because you will realize or be reminded of a few things:

It's Time to Create Your Beauty Blueprint

Quote about inner beauty

The quote above was in a book that I started rereading this weekend titled, "The Beauty Blueprint". I got the book awhile back, but forgot about it until recently. I guess a part of me needed to be reminded of why I started this blog. I can relate to alot of what the author, Michelle Phillips, has gone through. Going from "having it all" to having nothing, then discovering her purpose and calling in life.

Dressing For Your Wedding

Pressure to compete with others in our lives is something that we feel on a daily basis. When it comes to planning a wedding, this can translate into spending for the purpose of having the best wedding of all our friends and family. However, it is important to understand that it may not always be in your best interest to duplicate what others may be doing with their money. When your special day comes with the person you love, it may be best to focus on simply using your resources in order to have the best possible time. Attempting to outspend your friends or family members would be like engaging in a race to go broke, this is not something that you should take part in on purpose. Instead, you should remember that your wedding is about an expression of love, you do not need to spend all of your money to have a great event.

The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in San Diego for the past week. The birds are chirping extra loud, the smell of jasmine is in the air, and all the colorful flowers are in bloom. So of course I'm feeling inspired and want to dress accordingly!

This is a continuation of my previous post where I've been doing some online "window shopping" for fun spring dresses. Here are 5 more that I'm adding to the wishlist...

This Is What Real Beauty Is

Beauty Quote

I love the last sentence of this quote! Each one of us is pretty in our own way, and trying to fit in with someone else's idea of "pretty" will just make you miserable. Why not honor who YOU are and what makes you beautiful?

Wedding Rings With Timelessness in Mind

Picking out his and her wedding rings is often one of the first 'official' acts a couple does as they approach the commitment of a marriage that will bind the two of them legally together into a married partnership.  Depending on your relationship and the type of communication you have had about the subject of marriage, either you pick your rings together, or each partner selects a ring for the other, individually, as a part of the traditional suspense of the wedding proposal and later ceremony.  Either way, the choice deserves a lot of thought.

Team Effort

If the process of selecting rings is a team effort for the affianced, communication between the partners is essential.  Everything from choice of material for the wedding band to style and type of diamonds to include may be open for discussion, although often, a woman may have had a very clear idea of what she imagines as her ideal wedding ring for some time.

Having fun quote
